In 2024, prices for seasonal berries in Russia increased by an average of 8-16%.
The shelves are gradually filling up with the new year's harvest, but the numbers on the price tags are in no hurry to decrease.
This season in Russia, raspberries have become more expensive than other berries, Izvestia writes.

According to the publication, this berry is most expensive for residents of the Sverdlovsk region – 5.5 thousand rubles per 1 kg.
Moscow and Sochi are in second place. In these cities, raspberries cost from 2,000 to 3,000 rubles.
In Dagestan the berry costs 953 rubles, and in Crimea – 959 rubles. In St. Petersburg the average price is 600 rubles per 1 kg.
Since the beginning of this year, retail prices for apples have increased by 30%.
Of the vegetables, beets have increased in price the most – up 92.3%. Carrot prices have also increased significantly (62.8%).
Earlier it became known that cases of using a prohibited additive in meat products have become more frequent in Russia.
