How to get rid of midges

One of them involves removing the top layer of soil where the gnats usually congregate.

Before reusing it, you can pour boiling water over it or bake it in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 100 degrees.

You can also sprinkle the soil with garlic, which is used as an antiseptic in this case.

Using peroxide will also allow you to quickly disinfect the soil and destroy midges. To do this, dilute 1 tbsp. of pharmacy hydrogen peroxide 3% in 1 liter of water.

Lightly spray the soil with a spray bottle. This will solve two problems at once – moisten and clean the soil.

Now add some fresh soil on top and there will be no midges.

It was previously reported why matches are needed in flower pots.
