It is also better to select tubers weighing 50–80 g for sowing. If they are too large, they can be cut in half.
Processing of tubers
To speed up growth and resistance to diseases and pests, experienced gardeners soak the tubers in a special solution.
For 10 liters of water, take 40 g of potassium salt, nitrogen fertilizer and superphosphate.
Soaking is carried out one day before sowing.
Good neighbors
If possible, peas are planted next to potatoes.
It is called an excellent "neighbor" for potatoes.
It is also recommended to plant garlic and marigolds next to this crop.
