The Colorado potato beetle is still considered a real scourge of Russian summer residents and gardeners.
To avoid losing your potato crop, you need to powder the plant to protect it from the striped pest.
Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh explains that it is not at all necessary to spend money on expensive and sometimes dangerous for the human body pesticides.

Striped pests do not like a combination of three products that a summer resident always has at hand. Mix ash, mustard cake and tobacco dust together, sprinkle it on potatoes.
It is best to do this after it rains, as this will cause the product to stick to the leaves.
If there was no rain, then don’t be lazy and take the time to spray the potatoes first.
The following composition is suitable for wet treatment: for 10 liters of water, take 100 grams of ammonia or ammonia, as well as 100 grams of 9% or 7% vinegar. Mix the solution, spray the plants with it and then powder the potatoes.
