Picking pears from a tall tree can be tricky, but there are a few tricks to help you get the job done quickly.
Immediately try to gently shake the tree trunk so that some of the fruits fall.
Hitting the branches with a broom will help to shed even more fruit.

For picking large or soft fruits, a fruit basket with an extension handle is most often used.
You can wrap the hooks around the stem of the fruit and pull it. This will cause the fruit to fall directly into the basket.
Hand pruners can also be used to remove fruits that are difficult to remove otherwise.
For delicate fruits that are difficult to reach, telescopic pruning shears are used.
They hold the fruit while cutting, making them ideal for very soft and fragile fruits.
If some pears do not come off the tree easily and you do not have tools handy, then twist each fruit individually to remove it.
