They are sown not only in a greenhouse or in a vegetable garden, while there are no beds. Green manure is also useful in raspberry patches.
Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what plants can be planted in the spring next to the bushes.
Ideal candidates for this purpose are mustard or clover. Peas and lupines can also be planted. They provide the soil with nitrogen.
With the onset of autumn, green manure should be mown and incorporated into the soil. It can be done earlier, for example, when buds appear on the legumes.
The greenery will naturally rot and nourish the soil, and the bushes will then absorb the nutrients. This will solve the problem with weeds.
