In order to have a bountiful harvest, it is not at all necessary to spend huge amounts of money.
There are folk remedies that have proven themselves to be excellent in the process of growing many plants.
For potatoes, such a remedy is wood ash, the addition of which helps to increase the yield several times.

Wood ash for potatoes
Ash serves to increase crop yields, form large, regular-shaped tubers, and reduce soil acidity.
In order for wood ash to work as it should, it must be added to the soil twice: in the fall before digging the bed and in the spring directly into the hole.
In the first case, the concentration of fertilizer should be about 100 grams per meter of land.
When adding to the holes, you will need one handful of wood ash, which must be mixed with compost.
Fertilizing is also allowed before hilling the plant. One tablespoon of fertilizer for each bush is enough.
