Orchid, also known as phalaenopsis, is a flower that amazes indoor plant lovers with its beauty.
However, not everyone is given the opportunity to see the lush flowering of the plant, since it requires careful attention.
Let's figure out what kind of care you need to take to ensure that you will never see any flowers from your orchid.

What mistakes are made when caring for an orchid
Placement in direct sunlight. The orchid is a light-loving plant, but constant exposure to direct sunlight can cause sunburn.
Using standard fertilizers. Orchids require special fertilizers that contain virtually no nitrogen, since this element promotes the growth of green mass, not flowers.
Frequent watering under the root. Firstly, the orchid is watered only once a week, secondly, this is done by immersing it in a basin of water.
Frequent ventilation. The orchid feels comfortable only in certain conditions - at a temperature of 2 to 25 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it cannot be placed in rooms where there is frequent ventilation.
Incorrect soil. If you add soil from the garden to the pot when replanting a flower, don't expect flowers. An orchid needs special soil in which it will feel comfortable.
