Summer residents, agronomists are hiding this from you: an easy way to get rid of aphids in the garden

Aphids can “attack” plants in the garden and vegetable garden, creating unnecessary trouble for summer residents.

Sometimes you have to use special chemicals to combat it.

However, agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh suggested a simpler and more effective way to get rid of aphids.

A proven remedy

You may notice that sometimes aphids try to stay as far away as possible from certain plants. Horse chestnut is one of them.

The effect of this tree on aphids is detrimental. Therefore, it can be used to combat this pest.

An infusion of chestnut leaves will help scare away aphids. 500 grams of leaves or fruits should be crushed.

Then we fill them with hot water. It will take about three liters.

We insist the remedy for a day and filter it. Then we treat the plants with it. This treatment can be carried out every ten days.

Other methods of struggle

A soap solution will also help get rid of aphids. You need to grate one hundred grams of laundry soap and add it to ten liters of water.

Then it is enough to spray the plants with this product.

Its effect can be enhanced by adding other ingredients. For example, you can use garlic or onions.

The head of garlic should be crushed and poured with a liter of water. Let it sit for a couple of hours and pour it into the soap solution obtained earlier.
