What insects don't like

Ants are very sensitive to smells. However, they cannot stand strong aromas.

Therefore, dill, parsley or oregano can scare them away.

Insects will also not like the smell of valerian, mint or mustard.

These plants can be planted both between rows and along the perimeter of the plot.

You can scare away ants with the help of marigolds. They don't like the smell of garlic and tomato tops.

How else to get rid of ants

Ants will stop bothering you if you sprinkle the beds with coal or ash. This will also be a good fertilizer for the soil.

Starch will also help repel insects. For this purpose, potato peelings can be placed between the beds.

To combat ants, you can use a garlic-based decoction.

A couple of cloves need to be crushed and poured with a liter of water. Leave it like that for a day, and then treat the beds with the product.
