Wireworm can be a serious threat to potato crops.
However, there is a folk method to remove the pest from the garden in just a few minutes.
To do this, you will need mature potato tubers and one simple operation that you will need to perform with them.

How to get rid of wireworms in autumn
Take a bucket of ripe potatoes, cut each potato about 1 centimeter from each edge.
While the tubers are still oozing juice, you need to cut several holes in them with a knife. Each hole should then be filled as much as possible with mustard powder.
After this manipulation, potato tubers are planted in the problematic bed, covered with mustard and dug into the ground. After the pest has enjoyed such a treat, it is guaranteed to be its last.
By the way, sowing white mustard as a green manure and alternating it with potatoes also allows you to get rid of wireworms, since they do not tolerate this plant.
