Why does the tree bear fruit poorly?
The first thing to do is to understand why the cherry tree bears fruit poorly. There may be several reasons for this.
In particular, damage from various diseases can affect crop yields.
In addition, it is important to choose the right place to plant the tree and suitable neighbors.
Cherry trees may not bear fruit well if they are pruned incorrectly or if there is a lack of nutrients.
Ways to solve the problem
To ensure that the cherry tree bears fruit well, do not forget about feeding.
The first feeding should be done before the cherry tree begins to bloom.
During this period, it is necessary to place ammonium nitrate under the tree.
About 20 grams of this product will be required per square meter of tree trunk circle.
The second feeding can be done during the flowering period. It is advisable to choose liquid fertilizers for this.
You need to mix 50 liters of water and five liters of mullein. Then add ten glasses of wood ash and mix thoroughly.
If the tree is less than seven years old, then one bucket will be enough under the root. If the cherry is older, then two buckets can be used.
Two weeks later, you need to add new fertilizer.
In ten liters of water, dilute one tablespoon of potassium sulfate and one and a half glasses of superphosphate. One bucket of this product is needed per square meter.
