At first glance, it seems that potato peelings are only good for throwing away.
However, in reality, this waste can be profitably used on your own property.
How exactly and where should potato peelings be used in the country? Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh answered this question.

According to the expert, there are three ways to effectively and profitably use potato peels on your property.
Add compost
Potato peelings are rich in microelements that are beneficial for plants.
Accordingly, you should simply throw them into the compost heap to make them “work” as they should.
Bury in the ground
When rotting, potato peels can become a real fertilizer for the soil.
All you need to do is chop up the peelings and bury them in any garden bed during autumn digging.
Prepare a decoction
Garden crops also need nutritious infusions and decoctions.
Such “drinks” can be prepared from potato waste – they will be useful, in particular, for young, growing seedlings.
Earlier we talked about what fertilizer to use when planting potatoes.
