3 main reasons

Moniliosis, or fruit rot, is a real nightmare for any gardener. The disease first affects the fruits and then spreads to the branches of the plant.

Prevention helps to cope with this disease. In spring, trees should be treated with a 3% solution of Bordeaux mixture, before flowering - with the same solution, but diluted to 1%.

It is recommended to treat fruit trees with an iodine solution (10 milliliters of antiseptic per 10 liters of water) a month before harvesting the fruit.

The second reason is the close occurrence of groundwater or lack of irrigation. In both cases, the roots do not receive the required amount of moisture, as a result of which the tree begins to dry out.

The third reason is the larvae of the cockchafer, which could damage the root system. You can get rid of the pest with ammonia water.

To do this, take 50 milliliters of 10% ammonia solution per 10 liters of water.
