It's mid-summer, and some summer residents may have encountered yellowing grape leaves.
There are several reasons that can lead to this phenomenon.
Together with the expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, we figure out what is happening to your grapes.

Why do grape leaves turn yellow in July
Let's start with the fact that yellowing is most often caused by irregular watering. The plant should be watered at least twice a month, and each liana requires at least 2-3 buckets of water.
Therefore, if you notice that the lower leaves first turn yellow, and then the rest of the bush gradually begins to turn yellow, water it immediately. However, only if you have ruled out the possibility of disease.
Yellowing of leaves is also caused by a lack of potassium. A characteristic sign of nutritional deficiency is yellow edges of leaves.
In this case, it is recommended to spray the liana with a solution of potassium sulfate. 10 grams of the substance per 10 liters of water is enough.
