In addition, it was necessary to collect medicinal plants on this day.

Agrippina of Rome lived in the 3rd century AD. She was born in Rome, into a pagan family. However, at an early age she decided to become a Christian.

Agrippina accepted baptism and began to preach the teachings of the Son of God among her friends and relatives. Thus, later, the idolaters became widely aware of her.

For such an offense as Christian preaching, the future saint was seized by pagans and thrown into prison, where she was subsequently subjected to a series of tortures.

However, even unbearable physical suffering did not turn away the preacher’s love for Jesus Christ and his teachings.

The tortured Roman woman eventually died. However, before her death, she managed to guide many people onto the path of love for the Lord and Christianity.
