Today, Orthodox believers commemorate the transfer of the relics of St. Theodosius.
Among the people, this celebration is called Mikhey Tikhovey.
In Rus', on this day it was customary to do wedding matters or matchmaking.

Feodosiy, who was given the name Antipas at birth, was born at the beginning of the 11th century AD. He was born in the city of Lyubech.
Even as a small child, Antipas felt an incredible attraction to religion. For this reason, when he grew older, he went to Athos, where he took monastic vows.
At baptism he received the name Theodosius, after which he began to lead a hermit's life.
The abbot of the monastery was delighted with the religious devotion of the young monk, and several years later he ordered Theodosius to go to Russia.
There the young monk began to spread the rules of monastic communal life, then later came to Kyiv and began to live in a cave.
Thus, the believer rejected the idea of joining the religious communities of monks that already existed in the city.
