Mechanic killed in accident at Iranian airport.
While performing routine maintenance, an airport worker was sucked into a running Boeing engine.
On July 9, a Boeing 737 arrived at the airport in the city of Chabahar (southern Iran) from Tehran, reports the Bild newspaper.

A mechanic named Abolfazl Amiri began servicing the plane, which belongs to Iran's Varesh Airline.
After finishing the work, it was decided to check the engines. At that moment, the mechanic remembered that he had forgotten his tools near the engine.
He hurried to pick them up, but at that moment the engine started. A powerful stream of air literally dragged Amiri away.
The mechanic had no chance of survival. As a result of the incident, the plane's engine caught fire.
Firefighters extinguished the flames, and the fire department began an investigation.
