This happened at two o'clock in the morning local time (10 a.m. Moscow time), RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that this is not the first such case in recent times.

The disaster caused serious damage to the island nation.
Then a powerful wind knocked down high-voltage power lines, causing Cubans to spend some time without access to electricity.
The situation is aggravated by the deplorable state of the energy infrastructure. Local thermal power plants need repairs and equipment upgrades.
There is also a fuel shortage on the island.
