Let us recall that since November 28, protests have been taking place in Georgia again, gathering hundreds of people on the streets who are dissatisfied with the policies of the ruling party.

Irakli Kobakhidze previously stated that the country will not consider joining the EU until 2028.

Special forces and special means are used against the demonstrators.

On December 16, Europe intends to officially condemn the actions of the Georgian authorities, which the EU considers unacceptable.

In particular, the EU ambassador did not rule out that the union could take tough measures against the ruling party and its representatives.

Gerchinsky stressed that the restrictions will not affect those people who express their commitment to the EU and Georgia on the streets.

However, they may be applied to those who show cruelty to the demonstrators. He did not rule out that as a result, the visa-free regime will be cancelled for some Georgian passports.
