Rescue crews have begun combing the South Atlantic after the ship began taking on water.

However, the fate of seven people remains unknown. The search for them continues.

The fishing vessel Argos Georgia was sailing under the flag of Saint Helena.

The ship raised a distress signal early Tuesday near the Falkland Islands capital, authorities said.
