Nepal is experiencing a monsoon season, which has led to unpleasant consequences - floods.
As a result of the incidents, a large number of people were killed and injured.
Over the past month, flooding in Nepal has killed about 50 people, TASS reports, citing the Himalayan republic's Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security Dola Prasad Aryal.

It is noted that the total number of incidents was 55. Of these, 24 people died in landslides, 10 people went under water, 19 citizens died due to lightning strikes.
In addition, there are missing people who have not yet been found.
The minister noted that many roads were flooded and houses were in ruins. Power lines were also damaged.
The incidents were caused by the monsoon season, which will last in Nepal until early autumn.
