Former Bank of China Chairman Sentenced to Death for Bribery

A senior Chinese official has been sentenced to death for bribery.

Liu Liange, 63, was found guilty of accepting bribes and will be executed for it.

This decision was made by a Chinese court, as reported on the website of the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office of the PRC.

In the past, the convicted person held the post of chairman of the board and secretary of the party committee of the world's largest bank, Bank of China.

The former manager's sentence will be carried out with a two-year deferment.
