A tragic chain of events led to the death of the fourth child from a family poisoned by chicken and dumplings in Krasnoyarsk Krai.
The regional Investigative Committee reported details of the incident on its Telegram channel.
Death of a child
According to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Republic of Kalmykia, the 12-year-old girl died on the night of September 23.
The child, like three other children, died after eating chicken and dumplings from a village store.
The Investigative Committee believes that the children may have died from the toxic effects of an unidentified substance.
Investigators and forensic experts from the regional Investigative Committee of Russia continue their investigative actions.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the sale of goods and products that did not meet safety requirements, which resulted in the death of people.
A forensic medical examination was conducted into the poisoning of a family, two parents and four dead children.
Further research will be conducted to establish the exact cause of the children's poisoning.
