The Gaza Strip Ministry of Health has shared the latest data on the number of civilian casualties.
According to updated information, the death toll has already exceeded 40 thousand people.
This information was shared by the RIA Novosti agency, which cited data from the enclave’s Ministry of Health.
Updated statistics were presented for the entire period of escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
It is specified that since October 7, 40,005 deaths of local residents have been recorded in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli airstrikes. Among the wounded, 92,401 people are listed.
Over the past 24 hours alone, 40 deaths were recorded. Also, 107 people wounded in the fighting were admitted to medical facilities.
Let us recall that the escalation of the situation in the Middle East occurred on October 7 last year, when the Palestinian movement Hamas organized an attack on Israel.
Tel Aviv has launched a military operation in response and is conducting a military operation in Rafah, which is considered the last stronghold of Hamas.
