A 19-year-old Italian man was sent to a hospital bed by a group of 16-year-olds who felt insulted.
The young tourist was on holiday on the island of Alonissos, writes the Greek City Times . There he caught the eye of a local girl, with whom he decided to flirt.
The teenagers noticed this. They thought that the Italian had insulted them by flirting with the girl.
The group attacked the guy and left him lying on the ground until the ambulance and police arrived.
The victim was hospitalized with head and rib injuries. The Italian's vacation will end with treatment in the city of Volos.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating. The identities of the participants in the beating have been established. Their parents will be summoned to the police station. It turned out that this is not the first attack on people by this group.
