The instigators of the incident were arrested by local law enforcement officers.

A criminal case has already been opened against local residents, whom the investigation has established as being involved in the conflict, and it has been referred to court.
Circumstances of the case
It is noted that the incident occurred in Casablanca, Morocco, where the Russian businessman arrived with his wife. It is noted that the man came to Morocco to conduct business negotiations.
For an as yet unknown reason, a group of taxi drivers attacked a man, but the instigators were quickly found. No injuries or other bodily harm were reported.
According to the embassy, the victim and his wife have already returned to Russia.
The Russian Consulate General, together with the diplomatic mission, are monitoring further developments of the situation.
