Kazakhstan expels three Russians

Several people who flew from Moscow to Kazakhstan were deported back.

The reason was revealed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

A flight from Moscow arrived in Karaganda. But not all passengers were allowed to stay in the country.

Three were turned back. We are talking about Russians aged 23, 40 and 48, the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

The reason given was the untimely notification of dual citizenship.

It was decided not only to expel the Russians, but also to fine them.

The amount of material liability will be 738,400 tenge or $1,406.

In addition, Russians will be banned from entering Kazakhstan for 5 years.

The corresponding reports on the passengers were drawn up by transport police officers.

Since the beginning of 2024, a total of 3,629 foreigners have been brought to administrative responsibility in Kazakhstan for violating migration legislation.

Court hearings were held on their cases and in 1,077 cases a decision was made to deport them from the country.

As for dual citizenship, 412 such persons were identified.
