Pagers exploded en masse in Lebanon on September 17.
They were produced by the Hungarian company BAC Consulting KFT.
This was reported by the Taiwanese company Gold Apollo after the incident with numerous casualties in Lebanon, writes the CNA publication.

The pagers were sold to members of the Shiite Hezbollah movement. The explosions on September 17 occurred simultaneously in different parts of the country.
This resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.
Following the incident on September 18, Gold Apollo founder Su Qingkuan issued a statement.
He said the company is not involved in the production of the AR924 pager model.
He also added that these pagers were produced and sold by the Hungarian company BAC Consulting KFT under the license of the Gold Apollo brand.
The pager incident in Lebanon has left at least 11 people dead and more than 4,000 Hezbollah members injured.
Members of the movement said the incident was the biggest security breach in recent memory.
