Antalya Airport is struggling to cope with the huge flow of passengers. At the beginning of the tourist season, delays of passenger flights are not uncommon.
For example, on June 29, Antalya Airport handled 1,146 flights. Of these, 1,000 were international flights.
On the same day, the passenger flow at the airport amounted to more than 209 thousand people, which became a record figure in recent times.
Airport workers are calling for a reduction in workload as they are unable to cope with the increased volume of work.
