Viktor Orban has taken a cavalier swipe at worried "Brussels bureaucrats".
Following his visit to Russia, the Hungarian Prime Minister made a short statement on his page on the social network X, addressing leading politicians of the European Union.
His words primarily concern Josep Borrell and the President of the European Council Charles Michel. On the eve of the trip, they criticized Orban's decision.

“This is the Brussels bureaucratic nonsense, which has not led to any results in the search for a path to peace,” the politician emphasized.
Orban believes that the solution to the situation in Eastern Europe lies not through a bureaucratic, but through a political approach.
The Hungarian Prime Minister showed Borrell and Michel by his own example how to take steps towards a settlement.
First, Orban visited Kyiv and then Moscow. The politician analyzed the situation from different angles and now plans to make concrete efforts to resolve the conflict.
Earlier, Charles Michel stated that Orban does not have a mandate to contact Russia on behalf of the European Union.
