A woman was hit by a plane propeller and died at an airport in the USA.
The 37-year-old American woman was photographing other skydivers at an airfield in Kansas.
The woman suddenly collided with the plane's spinning propeller as she began to back away, Sky News reports.
Although the car was quickly stopped, the woman received serious injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital but died shortly thereafter.
The woman, according to her family, was doing what she loved – jumping with a parachute and taking photographs.
A relative of the deceased announced a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses.
An airfield spokesman stressed in a statement that an official investigation was underway into the incident.
