Let us recall that protests took place in several cities in Britain, including Belfast, Manchester, Leeds and others.

The riots were sparked by a knife attack by a 17-year-old teenager on children in the city of Southport. As a result, three minors died.

After learning that foreigners were suspected to be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in the English town of Rotherham, local residents sent a police officer to the property.

Masked men smashed windows and rolled a burning trash can into the building.

The police officers maintaining order at the scene also got into trouble. The protesters threw improvised objects at the law enforcement officers, including branches and chairs.

One of the police officers on duty near the hotel is believed to have been injured.
