US residents are buying up doomsday bunkers to protect themselves from military conflicts and nuclear apocalypse.
Some projects cost up to a million dollars, which is comparable to buying a full-fledged house in any state.
The owner of Atlas Survival Shelters told Fox News that he receives orders every day.

The businessman noted that his bunkers are not just walls and floors. Their interior is close to what you can see inside a regular house.
“Whoever sees them will think they are in a hotel room,” the entrepreneur said.
Bunker prices vary. Wealthy clients are not greedy and buy more expensive ones because they do not want to "suffer in a metal box."
The cheapest bunker costs $20,000, and the most expensive one costs $1 million. The average cost is $400,000.
These shelters offer more than just comfort. They are said to protect against a variety of events: pandemics, riots, terrorist attacks, biological or nuclear disasters.
By purchasing a bunker, Americans are preparing not only for a hypothetical third world war, but also for a possible civil war in the United States.
The survey found that 13% of Americans believe that internal conflict is “very likely.” Another 34% called such a development “likely.”
