The Volgograd Region Administration reported that 21 people are in regional hospitals after a passenger train derailed.
It is emphasized that among the aforementioned wounded citizens, seven people are minors.
In its official Telegram channel, the regional administration states: “As of the morning of July 30, there are 21 victims in medical institutions in Volgograd and Kotelnikovo.”
The authorized bodies also drew attention to the fact that all the necessary medications for the treatment of the wounded are present in the hospitals.
Train accident
On Monday, July 29, during the daytime in the Volgograd region, a Kamaz driver drove onto the railroad tracks.
It was explained that the above-mentioned person drove through a red light and by his actions provoked a collision with passenger train No. 491 Kazan-Adler.
As a result of the incident, nine train cars derailed. Seven overturned.
30 people, including 15 children, were hospitalized.
