A young Russian woman decided to correct one defect and died in a medical center.
The press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Dagestan reported the details on its Telegram channel. The incident occurred in Makhachkala on September 9.
A 23-year-old girl came to one of the private medical centers.
Here she was supposed to undergo surgery - septoplasty. It is performed to correct the curvature of the nasal septum.
The patient was given medication before the operation. She became ill shortly after.
The ambulance workers who arrived at the scene confirmed the death of the Russian woman.
Now the investigative bodies are looking into the situation. They will have to establish all the circumstances of what happened.
The Investigative Committee reported that already at this stage of the work, a decision was made to initiate a criminal case on the fact of providing services that did not meet safety requirements, which resulted in the death of a person through negligence.
Law enforcement officers are collecting all the necessary information that will help identify the perpetrators of the tragedy.
