A groom was detained in the Amur Region registry office for causing harm to health that poses a danger to a person. RIA Novosti reports the details with reference to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the region.
The crime was committed at the end of May near one of the houses.
It is noted that the man was walking with his bride. After a while, he noticed strangers drinking and decided to insult them.
According to the press service, a conflict soon broke out between the men. Then, for no apparent reason, the attacker stabbed the 57-year-old citizen.
It was also noted that the man was detained on June 1 at the registry office.
It is added that the criminal case has now been sent to court. The man faces punishment.
