A Russian woman became a victim of a scammer while on holiday in Anapa.
A resident of Sochi had a holiday romance and was left without a piece of jewelry.
The woman was relaxing on the embankment in Anapa when a 38-year-old local resident approached her, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar Krai reported on its Telegram channel.

He met the woman and suggested continuing the conversation in her apartment. The woman was not against it.
The problems began the next morning when the Russian woman discovered that her gold chain with topaz was missing.
It was also not possible to ask the new acquaintance where the necklace was, because by that time he had already disappeared.
The man stole a piece of jewelry worth 150 thousand rubles. But he was soon detained on one of the streets of Anapa. Searches were conducted at his place of residence and the stolen item was found.
The necklace was returned to the tourist, and the womanizer was sent to custody. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
