Flooding occurred at the 506th km of the federal highway "Baikal" due to heavy rain. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the government of Buryatia.
It is specified that the flooding occurred near the village of Desyatnikovo.
According to the government, the presence of flooded areas is currently being checked. The administration is conducting the check.
In addition, specialists are cleaning up the aftermath.
Soon after the incident, the head of Buryatia went to Tarbagatai District. According to him, the flooding was caused by rainwater runoff from the adjacent hills.
