It became known about an accident that occurred in Krasnoyarsk.
A worker who was dismantling a wall in the Atrium shopping center died on the job.
The incident was reported on the Telegram channel of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Prosecutor's Office.
As specified, the accident occurred at 18:00 local time (14:00 Moscow time).
Three workers, aged 17, 18 and 19, were carrying out major repairs to the building. While dismantling a wall, a suspended ceiling fell on them.
It is noted that as a result of the fall of the heavy structure, all three people who were in the room at the time were injured.
However, the youngest 17-year-old worker suffered the most and died from his injuries.
According to the department, workers worked at the facility without signing employment contracts. Safety precautions were also not observed during the major repairs.
The prosecutor's office is investigating the remaining details, and as a result, a decision will be made on whether to initiate a criminal case under the article on causing death by negligence.
