It became known about the death of a foreman at the sewage pumping station (SPS) in Volgograd shortly before its explosion.

The death of a foreman at the company’s facility (KNS-4) has been confirmed, TASS reports.
According to preliminary information, he carried out work without PPE (personal protective equipment).
During a routine inspection of the pumping station equipment, the man became ill. He lost consciousness. Emergency services were called to the scene, but the worker died.
This happened on the eve of a serious emergency at KNS-4. On Saturday, July 6, an explosion thundered here, which led to the collapse of structures and the death of people.
The rubble continues to rise here. The search for people who may have remained in the building after the collapse has been ongoing for the third day.
Moreover, the work is taking place against the backdrop of heat (up to +40°C) that has set in in Volgograd.
