Entrepreneur Musa Bazhaev stated that if his son Timur Bazhaev is responsible for the attack on the police officer, he will be punished.
At the same time, the businessman emphasized that he does not think that his offspring is actually guilty of the crime committed.
Bazhaev stated: "I don't think Timur could have committed such antisocial acts. But I'm not going to fight for anything," as reported by the Izvestia newspaper.

The businessman also expressed confidence that this incident would ultimately end “normally.”
Assault on a police officer
The Russian Investigative Committee previously announced that Timur Bazhaev attacked a law enforcement officer in the capital.
The incident was recorded near Moscow's Luzhniki.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the said incident under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
Subsequently, the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, reported that the case was under the control of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
