An accident involving a little girl occurred in Omsk.
The child died after falling from a horizontal bar located on the street.
The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region shared information about the accident involving the nine-year-old girl on its official Telegram channel.
According to the department, the incident occurred on July 5 at 13/3 Krupskaya Street in Omsk.
A nine-year-old girl went out for a walk in the yard and decided to do an exercise on the horizontal bar located outside.
While swinging on the structure, the child hit an iron support and then fell to the ground.
The injury sustained in the fall was too severe. The girl died on the spot, without waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene are investigating the causes of the incident. A criminal case has been opened under the article on causing death by negligence.
Earlier it was reported that in Karachay-Cherkessia a 5-year-old child died due to a fallen tree.
