Eighteen people with signs of food poisoning sought medical attention in Spassk-Dalny, Primorsky Krai.
The cause was the use of tap water, the regional prosecutor's office reports.
The department noted that about 18 local residents sought treatment at the city hospital between July 4 and 5, 2024, RIA Novosti reports.
Among the victims, 11 minors also showed signs of food poisoning.
It is believed that the possible cause was the consumption of tap water.
Rospotrebnadzor authorities are conducting an investigation into the consumption of water that does not meet sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
Earlier, a second case of death from botulism was recorded after mass poisoning .
