A neighbor came to the boy's aid and freed him, the Primorsky Krai Prosecutor's Office reports.
On a chain in the garage
The man beat his partner's son, according to investigators.
He forcibly put the child on a chain and dragged him into the garage.
The investigation revealed that in July, a resident of the village of Chuguevka wrapped a chain around the boy’s neck and chained him to a pole.
The suspect taped his stepson's mouth to stop him from screaming.
Moreover, he beat the child with an electric cord for several hours.
The boy was saved thanks to the help of a neighbor. The woman heard the screams and freed the child.
A criminal case has been opened against the man. The detainee faces a prison term for illegal deprivation of liberty committed against a minor.
