The three-year-old girl was subjected to systematic beatings by her mother.
For two years, the woman beat the girl, causing her physical and mental suffering.
The torture took place from July 2022 to August 2024 in the village of Vagay, Omutinsky District, Tyumen and Kazan.
The woman also committed other violent acts against her daughter.
A resident of Tyumen was detained and charged with torture committed against a minor who was known to be dependent on the perpetrator.
The court decided to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detainee.
The woman, who pleaded guilty, will remain in custody until October 27, 2024.
