A kindergarten teacher in Lesosibirsk was sentenced for the death of a three-year-old boy.
The investigation established a connection between the caregiver's negligence and the child's death.
The woman admitted her guilt, and the court imposed a harsh punishment in the form of two years of restricted freedom, the regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on its Telegram channel.
During the investigation it was revealed that in March the teacher took 21 children out for a walk.
She didn't notice how the child was trapped between the flooring and the railings of the play complex. The boy hung in a vertical position, was unable to get out and suffocated.
The child remained in this position for about seven minutes. He was hospitalized, but died a month later, despite all the efforts of doctors.
