A trial is underway near Yaroslavl of a man who attempted to kill several people.
According to investigators, the defendant in the case used the grenade out of jealousy.
The commencement of legal proceedings was announced on the page of the Bolsheselsky District Court of the Yaroslavl Region on the VKontakte social network.
The defendant in the case, Maksim Patseruk, is accused of attempted murder, carried out by a generally dangerous method. It is noted that the case is being considered in the general order.
Details of the incident
As the investigation revealed, Patseruk illegally acquired and stored a fragmentation grenade at his home.
When he had a conflict based on jealousy, the man took a weapon from the house and, upon returning, used it.
As a result of the grenade explosion, three people who were at the crime scene were injured. The condition of one of the victims was assessed as light, the other two - moderate.
The defendant's illegal actions also resulted in damage to property worth 480 thousand rubles.
