New details of Timur Ivanov's case revealed

Businessman Sergei Borodin turned out to be the owner of a mansion in the very heart of Moscow.

RIA Novosti reports new details in the case of former Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov, citing case materials.

Borodin owns real estate in the Yakimanka district. It is an old three-story mansion, which is now a prestigious loft-style complex.

Area – 233.7 square meters, cost – 250 million rubles.

In addition, it was established that the entrepreneur owns a plot of land in a guarded cottage village on Novaya Riga in the village of Nikolo-Uryupino for 23 million rubles.

The businessman also had 60 acres of land on the banks of the Volga. The plot is located in an elite village, where there is a private yacht club and a riding school.

Borodin and Ivanov are currently in pretrial detention. The former deputy defense minister is accused of taking bribes totaling about 1 billion rubles.

The general does not admit guilt and seeks a softening of the preventive measure. Timur Ivanov was detained on April 23, 2024 and was sent to custody.
