New details have emerged regarding the bus overturning incident in Transbaikalia.
The number of victims as a result of the accident has increased significantly, reaching 15 people.
The Investigative Committee of Transbaikalia shared this information on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that the mentioned accident occurred in the Shilkinsky district on Thursday.
A Ford Transit with passengers was moving along the highway. However, the vehicle was not officially registered as a minibus.
For an as yet unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the minibus to go off the road and overturn.
As a result, 9 people who were in the car were injured. According to updated data, the number of victims has increased to 15, all of whom were hospitalized.
A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under the article on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
